01 It has to survive the second week. Plenty of things are wonderful for an afternoon. We are looking for the ones still out on the floor a month later, because those are the ones worth the money and the space in your house.

02 Broad in what we carry, narrow in what we pick. You should be able to find a first rattle, a rainy afternoon and a birthday present in the same place. That does not mean forty versions of each. It means the one or two we would actually recommend.

03 Say the awkward part out loud. Return postage is yours to pay. Delivery takes seven to eleven business days, not one. We would rather you read that here than discover it at the worst possible moment.
